The Pottawatomie County Sheriffs Department has arrested Cody Lamia-Beck, 23, Wamego, for the murder of Jacob Bouck, according to a news release from the Greg Riat, Pottawatomie County Sheriff.
Bouck's body was located west of Wamego on Dec. 24, 2018 near the bank of the Kansas River. An ongoing investigation that involved the assistance from our surrounding agencies and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation yielded information that led to the arrest, the release said.
The suspect was taken into custody by detectives on March 6, 2019 for second degree murder, according to the report, and is currently being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail in Westmoreland. Bond has not been set.
